it was amazing
bookshelves: romance, paranormal, zombies, fantasy, urban-fantasy, historical

I liked it. It had an adventure feeling to it, also historical and a fantasy world with machines while being able to put romance into all that and making it look natural.
It was worth reading, though my romance holic side maybe would've like more romance? (difficult to say when it's the right amount instead of not enough or too much that it's mushy and makes you wanna bang you head into the wall)
I liked Mina's character because she wasn't one of those delicate feminine ones that most romance books have, and she didn't need saving that much, and instead did some of the big saves herself!
The duke's character is also likable, although just the pirate concept would probably be more than enough reason for that ^^ , but all the falling in love was nice too, and all the things he did so that she'll come to him (not materialistic actions like giving flowers >_< )
