Once again, I don't have a clue what I just read. I think Alex's paranoia is rubbing off on me! I may be in the minority, but I actually don't like Alex. I think she's weird, and not in a good way. I get that she's 19, but after being ridiculously sheltered for 18 years, she seems remarkably resourceful. I'm just not buying it. The premise of the story though has won me over. And I love that we got a pov from Daimon. I'm glad he was able to give me info on what happened behind the scenes. And hey... I actually kinda like the dude.
Side note: I love that this story is not about a typical drop dead gorgeous heroine. It is about a woman who is classified as a Chimera and explores how she finally owns it. And that despite what she was brainwashed with (ugly, monster), she is absolutely worthy of love.
So now that I know that what Daimon said is true, I need to know how he is going to save the day. Or will it be Alex who solves the problem?
