This is a great vampire/Demon book, all of which are called Deamhan's in the book. They all are a bit different in how they feed and in what they can do. The average person doesn't know about these deamhans. Veronica however does, she knows much about them, the differences between them, how they feed and is learning more and more, with all the time she's been spending with them. Her whole goal for putting her life in danger, is to find out what happened to her Mother.

Her mother was a part of an organization, that knows about and learns about all deamhons. Veronica's father runs the organization!! It's called the brotherhood. Veronica's mother disappeared and Veronica needs answers, needs to know what happened to her. Like a lot of people in the organization, her mother was a recorder. Someone who goes out in the field to investigate deadman's. At the time she became missing, she was investigating a very particular deamhan. Who Veronica relies is different and understands why her mother would be investigating him.

Excellent book, moves along smoothly, easy to read with excellent characters I really love. I found the characters multidimensional, likeable, all with their own personalities and traits. There is obviously bloody, gory parts, with a dead body or so. Fighting and killing. It all fits in, in my opinion expected in this type of book. I didn't give away to much information on the book on purpose. I want too give nothing away. Everyone, who reads this book should be able to experience it ALL for themselves. It's so worth it. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait for the next one. Each page I turned, was like Christmas too me finding out a bit more and more. Loved it.

I received this ARC from the Author, the review is my honest opinion.
