I think this was the best work I've read from Cassia Leo so far! The writing style, the pacing, the character development, everything was virtually on point!

This book is full of feels so be prepared. Everything in this book hinges on the death of Hallie. It's crazy how warped and sadly beautiful this story is shaping out to be.

Rory is Hallie's best friend and has loved Hallie's brother Houston forever. They don't end up getting involved until Hallie dies. A 6-month tumultuous affair later, they break up. Fast forward five years and they're still in love but haven't spoken. A chance encounter rekindles the flame. Unfortunately, Houston is married. Cue the freaking drama and heartbreak. I'm not writing anymore of the plot. The book is amazing so just read it! I'm on to book 2!
