really liked it

This is one of those books that's very interesting and about an interesting topic, aka the death of Amy Dudley, the wife of Elizabeth I's favorite. I think that this book focused a lot on the things leading up to her death that it felt lackluster when we got there. But, it was still very, very interesting. I'd return to this book at some point, too, because it's usually something that's looked over in the larger picture of Elizabeth's reign.
