A young adult novel in a historical setting. A set of twins living in Philadelphia during 1876's centennial celebration enter into adulthood, separate but together. Their father warns them about "Dangerous Neighbors" and this book deals with how the twins apply his advice. It jumps in time often so it would be harder for a lower level reader but a teenager could identify feelings the twins experience in the novel.
