It was okay, but it didn't keep my interest for long. I think I needed to read the entire trilogy together. Some books I need to separate between books, this one I needed to read together I guess. Anyway, this one focuses on the vampire and the queen that time forgot. The circle of six is going to fight the big nasty. We have some sad moments when you get angry because of the trickery that the demon vamp uses to kill off villagers you have kind of gotten to know. Still, that's war. Moving on, the six don't die all of them get paired up. The vamp leaves so he won't ruin the queens life and reputation. He drinks himself into a stupor. The Gods intervene. He is given a tough choice. All really predictable. I need to stick to JD Robb, she is a much more impressive writer than Roberts for me.
