I loved this book, and stayed up until four in the morning reading it. What first caught my eye was that there is a deaf character, and I have a close family member who is deaf, so reading books with deaf characters is very interesting to me. I really loved how the author describes the Southern town, and I think she captures her characters and the true nature of small towns and family feuds very well. I wish she had more books similar to this one, it kind of got me hooked on books set in the South.
