it was amazing

This novella was a fast, excellent read. I was captivated by the story of Lucy, who is recovering from an illness in the hospital and enjoys a visit from her estranged mother. Lucy and her mother rekindle their relationship and revisit the lives of people in their small town in Illinois. An interesting look at the relationships between mothers and daughters. Now I want to read Strout's popular "Olive Kitteridge."
