really liked it
bookshelves: mem-wires

this is a really helpful book about bipolar disorder written by a psychiatric professional managing her own bipolar mind. she's smart, careful and writes as a doctor about an illness, but her personal struggle reaffirms what the doctor is saying. my only complaint is that every time there's a problem in her life, a "tall, dark, handsome man" comes along. it's not that i begrudge anyone a constant stream of tall, dark and handsome. i just wish she'd vary the language a bit.
