Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein throughout Victor Frankenstein’s life. Victor was in college when he created this creature. Even though Victor created this creature, he did not care for it like he should have. Victor created this creature, and soon after, was terrified of it. Elizabeth, Victor’s wife, which was once his adopted sister, was murdered by the creature, but not only did the creature kill Elizabeth, but William, Victor’s brother as well. After all of those tragedies happened, Victor tries to escape from the creature, but anytime he tried, the creature was soon following him. The creature put Victor through, what some would call, torture. He wanted Victor to create a female creature so he wouldn’t be lonely anymore. Victor attempts to create a female for the creature, but soon realizes that he physically and mentally couldn’t create her. While discarding of the female’s remains, Victor was accused of murdering the girl. Several events happen to Victor that he never wouldn’t have imagined when he was creating this creature. I believe if mystical creatures such as the one in the story amaze you, Frankenstein would be a great novel to read. It is very detailed in the way Mary describes these events. The makeup of this story is very different, but has an interesting outline as well.
