it was amazing
bookshelves: 2016

This book managed to turn a-train-ride-from-hell into a fun, enjoyable time. For that, I want to say thank you.

It is essentially a murder-mystery novel. The story is well-crafted. In the end, everything made sense and I am satisfied. More importantly, the author presented the story very well. It is full of twists and turns, but none of the twists feel forced. It never gives the impression that the characters are talking just because the story has to be explained to the reader. The story flows through beautifully.

It is violent and gritty, but I did not find the book very dark. And I appreciated the author for the balance he achieved.

I would love to read more from Scott.
