Obscene (A Bad Boy Romance)

Another cover that was lick-a-licious. Yup. That's a word lol. This book had a lot of key elements to make it a fantastic read, however, I feel like it fell short. Zack is a war vet with PTSD. The only things that help him settle his mind and find some peace are drinking and screwing random women (I didn't appreciate his opening scene). That is until he meets Caeli, who has a name I still believe I'm not pronouncing correctly. She's an innocent girl-woman who lives under the thumb of her irresponsible parents. She gave up on her education in order to help her family clear up their debts. Her family is quite abusive, which Zack doesn't tolerate.
If this book wasn't so rushed, I could have enjoyed Zack working through his PTSD. Even through his POV his past is briefly mentioned. I wanted more. So that's the only complaint I really have. The book should have been more in-depth and a little longer. And despite the insta-love quality of the story, the real love was sorely lacking.
