it was amazing

A book to knock your socks off!
Bill waits for his daughter at the railway station on Christmas Eve. He hasn’t seen Carol for a while and as her mother passed away recently, being together for the season is extra special. When she doesn’t arrive he looks into her life a little to try and find her and finds way more than he ever thought.
A stunning story not just about a missing girl but much, much more. About a world that few of us would dare to step into. Of drugs, money laundering and trafficking, prostitution, thuggery and an underworld based around a nightclub.
A brilliant plot about deceiving the deceptors and revenge being that dish best served cold. Of a love for his daughter that takes him into unimaginable situations to seek out what happened to her and several others, all in the name of justice. A friend who lost a sister to the similar circumstances becomes involved with him in the intricate plot which weaves and turns until the very end, where I almost shed a tear.
One of the best books I have ever read (and I read 180+ per year).
I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an open and honest review
