Rhett in Love (Rhett, #2)

I really wanted to love this book. And there were quite a few parts I did love. But I'm left a little dissatisfied. I understood what the author was trying to convey with Rhett's portrayal as the son of an addict. His feelings of neglect, loss, resentment, love/hate, emptiness, etc. I got it. But I hated how selfish and immature his reactions were. I felt bad for Clementine. Four lap dances dude??? And then picking up a random in a bar??? I just feel that he did way too much for her to forgive. I didn't see him grovel. They got to a HEA but I saw no work involved. Therapy is mentioned but it's background noise. The video was cute and all but I guess I was expecting more. I was hoping for an epilogue to show how much Rhett grew, but that was evidently not in the cards.
Overall, a great but frustrating read.
