really liked it
bookshelves: young-adult

I loved this book even if it contains some disturbing things. The reading was gripping and enthralling but at the same time confusing. At first when I finished this book I found it hard to decide how I felt about it. I thought it was very well done, intense and emotional, but at the same time something was wrong, maybe in some ideas like teenagers fights and killing each other even if the author made her ways to prevent katniss ( the main charachter) from Killing the other kids directly, and made her kill just one defending Rue that suppose to be her enemy as well. Other strange and unexplained idea is the appearance of the mutts of the dead teens, and some things that was happening between Katniss and Peeta... I thought also that Katniss speaks to much in this story, I mean she supposed to be a hunter trained on quiet and silence.
I think just in reading the whole triology all questions qill be answered.
