really liked it

I enjoyed the series... David Eddings, The Belgariad seems to have inspired a lot of stories written these days.

Out of the five books a couple are slow but the story never stops being interesting and intriguing, I read fast through some sections just to know what happens next.

The story is well spread out across the books and the characters endearing. I loved every one of them - Belgarath, Polgara, Garion, Ce'Nedra, Barak of Cherek, Mandorellan the Knight, Silk the suave spy, Durnik the Blacksmith, Relg of Ulgo, Taiba of Maragor, Hettar the Sha-dar,... Each one has a distinct role to play in the grand plan as the plot unveils.

Before starting the series, some of the reviews I read said the prose had errors and it was for children. The prose does have errors but mostly it feels like part of the telling and even if its for kids, I enjoyed it.

A must read series...
