really liked it
bookshelves: christian, political, re-reads
Read 2 times. Last read February 1, 2016 to February 16, 2016.

In this book, Professor Babcock points out how American evangelicalism has embraced an American mythology. He shows how we mistakenly believe that America used to be a Christian nation. In the end, he brings us to what is truly important for Christians to focus on - the Cross. I highly recommend this book.
