This is the fifth TM Frazier book I've read. It's weird because all my ratings have been around 3-stars, but I can't stop devouring these books! They are dark with memorable characters and surprising plot twists.

I like how slow the relationship between Abbey and Jake moved. I love a good drawn out relationship.

This book was pretty awful though. It had a rape scene that was horrible to read. I found this much darker than the King series. And also a lot more epic, it spanned several years and kept me reading late into the night, because wow, what a story!

Very sad that I've now read TM Frazier's entire body of work. I need more!

MY VERDICT - 4 STARS - But beware, this story is dark!
