This book was a really quick read and the plot goes at a good rate. I was pleasantly suprised - it is one of the only Holocaust books that ends happily! I loved the main character, Annemarie. She is inspiring with her bravery and loyalty to her friend, Ellen. I also liked some of the new information about WWII that I learned from this book. Overall, it is short and well-told, making it a book I would recommend for anyone!

Juliet Jarrett I thought this book was really good too! It was quick and easy, but great at the same time!
