I'm giving two stars here because I couldn't really relate to any of the women characters, and much of the conversation read like chick lit. When their life-threatening crisis first struck, the women didn't seem really focused on getting rescued; instead they revisited petty memories from high school. One character seemed too selfish to be believable, although some members of my book club assure me they have known women like that! The basic plot, though, was realistic, two of the characters found courage in adversity, and the suspense kept my interest.
