This book brings us two stories, the Roberta in current times and the story of her grandmother Dorothea passed in the second war.
It's a beautiful book, but ends up losing some charm due to move back and forth in history. We were losing Roberta love story details as well as could have many more details of the romance between Dorothea and Jan, needs more description and romantic moments .
I think both stories would make good separate books .
