really liked it
bookshelves: contemporary, dual-pov

Wow!! The sexual language was kicked up a notch in this book... and I really liked it. I think it worked rather well for these characters, considering Julia and Clay started on a chemical reaction. I found that Julia was very stubborn in this one. There is nothing wrong with being fiercely independent. Matter of fact it is something to be respected. However, I believe it was taken too far. Clay did everything out of love, adoration and respect for her. As a grown-up I think she handled things badly. Running away from problems solves nothing and just shows a pathetic lack of maturity. I expected better from Julia's character. I loved everything else about her though. She's awesome. Both of them are. This was my kind of romance for sure.

And I have to say, Michele redeemed herself in this book by giving Clay some objective advice regarding Julia. Good for her. I'm still not sure if I'll read her book, but I don't dislike her anymore at least.
