it was amazing
bookshelves: youth, favorites, my-childhood, 1994, 1995, 2007, re-read

For about ten years, this (the last) was the only book in the trilogy I'd read. It's an incredible story, one that stood on its own completely. Meg (and her speech patterns!) impacted my life tremendously. In this story, she is kidnapped, abandoned, saves herself and has to come back to full strength, emotionally and physically. Man, do I love this book.

I read that she's written a fourth Meg book, to be published soon, and I am very excited about that prospect.
