I'm still really digging this series. I'm a little annoyed that Julia is keeping secrets from Clay, especially when she knows why he has trust issues, but I also get why she's doing it. Good intentions and all. It doesn't make the situation any less frustrating. She's in trouble because her ex was scum. I understand being embarrassed but she should get help not lie.
I don't think I'll be reading the part of the series about Michele. I don't like her. I think that as Clay's friend she was self-serving when he came to her for advice regarding Julia. As a shrink she was supposed to be objective, meaning her personal feelings should be irrelevant. However, the advice she gave, that he move on, seemed to suit her own agenda. So I'm not sure she deserves a HEA or that I would read it. Maybe she'll redeem herself in the next book or two. If so I might change my mind.
