It has been a very long time since anyone said those words to me. At first, I can only cry harder as his words fill the empty places inside me.
“I love you, Natalie. I’ve loved you since the first second you looked up at me from the ground in the park. I’ve loved you since Fluff bit me and since I chased you from the park. And if it takes the rest of our lives, we’ll get there. I have no doubt about that.”

That's a quote from Virtuous and I believe it carries through to this book. This author writes romance amazingly well. I tried to count how many times I read 'love you' and gave up. It was so sweet without crossing the border of saccharine. Thank you for that!

Flynn is still keeping his bdsm lifestyle a secret from Natalie and numerous times I wanted to smack him at the back of his head! I get she's been traumatized but it's only fair to share this truth. Especially before it blows up in your face. Oops too late. BTW his ex wife is a sad, pathetic, vindictive beep! Just had to get that out there. I appreciate the bits of drama created in this book as well, such as the introduction of an FBI investigation. Question: what about the crime merited FBI involvement?

I'm eager to read the next book!!
