Great writing again by MS Parker, but I'm not surprised. Gavin is the character that sells this series for me. I'm grateful to finally read his voice and get his perspective. It was long overdue. I just can't stand Carrie. I've tried multiple times and I've failed. She is extremely ungrateful! Gavin has given her everything and she treats him terribly. Wtf?! He pays for her law practice and she's working pro bono while collecting a cheque from him from her partnership in his Club Prive. What is she bringing to the table to have her acting like it's just her due?! Where does she think the dang money is coming from?! I was hoping for her to be more supportive but she's always looking for kudos. As I said, I love Gavin.
