Worthy companion piece to the brilliant first installment.

Not quite the heights Bangs hit, but better than anything else you're likely to read on the same subject matter.

His description of how he could not listen to Miles Davis while driving to the laundromat because of the awful, immense pain on his heart gets me every time.
