This book focuses on three generations of Japanese Americans, telling the story of both the grandfather’s and the grandson’s journey to America and how they feel at home in both countries. The story is simple and shows the beauty of both Japan and America. It briefly refers to World War II, but the book only scratches the surface of the multi-generational story. I would have liked to hear more details.
