liked it
Read from April 05 to 11, 2011

I basically liked the book. It only received 3 stars because in the beginning Gideon speak was not bad but as the book progressed (approx 50%) it became annoying. I started reading his speaking parts the way it should be without the "not" in the sentences. A-nnoy-ing!! Scarlet the heroine I liked and I also liked her demon. Her back story tore at my heartstrings but once again about 70% into the book SHE started working on my nerves. I had a hard time with her being upset with Gideon for not remembering her because she was really into him but once she found out the real deal then she didn't want to be with him because of that. Didn't get it when she was suppose to really like him. Huh!? I found myself more interested in the side stories involving Strider, William, Amun, and Aeron. This is definitely not my favorite LOTU book. I am ready for the next one though.
