it was ok
bookshelves: fantasy-sci-fi

I am taking the Goodreads definition of two stars literally here: Hush, Hush was okay. The book description seemed a little misleading. I went into this thinking that there would be romance and a fantastical supernatural aspect, provided by the angels, but neither of these played a particularly strong role in the book at all. I've been trying to think up the best way to describe this, and what comes to mind is a wanna-be psychological thriller. The book fails to cause a strong reaction of a true thriller, but the focus is very much on whether Nora is going crazy, or if there is really someone out to get her. The supernatural aspect gets a great start in the prologue, but then falls off the map until nearly the end of the book. It had potential, but the book seemed to go all over the place and not deliver in any particular area.
