Grades 2-4. A boy decides to lie when his parents refuse to believe his far-fetched excuses (which are really true). When he gets in trouble either way, he invites all the actual offenders (ninja included) to meet his parents. A very round-about way of showing the importance of being truthful--but I think it has the potential to be misinterpreted by younger students. Older students will love the humor.
