There are countless books written on weight loss but none addresses the true cause of weight gain like “Always Hungry?” This book is a paradigm shift in the conventional view of obesity. Dr. Ludwig explains why the cause and effect need to be reversed in the current obesity model. Hunger, he shows, is not the cause but rather a consequence of obesity. His insight into the human metabolism along with his cutting edge research illustrates the point quite clearly. After reading this book it will become quite obvious why it is so difficult to lose weight in the long term without addressing the true cause of weight gain. Most diet book treat the effect of obesity but this is the first book that treats the cause of obesity. His program is easy to follow and more importantly, sustainable, which is where most diets fail. A must read for anyone serious about losing weight, being healthy, and adding years to life.
