really liked it
bookshelves: ya, own-it

Took me a bit to get in to, but once I did I couldn't stop reading. Sean is the strong, silent type. Puck (aka Kate) is a hot-headed ginger. I loved them both by the time the book was over.

It's intense, slightly gruesome, and heartpounding, especially at the end. I have no idea where this series is going, or how the characters that were introduced will play into each other, but having read Maggie before this, I have complete faith that she'll do a fabulous job weaving everyone and everything together.

I'm not much for horses (they kind of scare me), so the fact that I liked a horse book as much as I did should tell you something. Basically it should tell you that Maggie Stiefvater is an awesome writer and you should read everything she's ever written, this book included.
