it was amazing

Loved it. Every single page of it. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I will never grow tired of stories from world war ll and other historical events.

It was interesting reading about the sinking of Wilhelm Gustloff which I never even knew had happened.

Now onto how the book made me FEEL. It made sad and happy and very angry at times. It was a rollercoaster of feelings. I was so fascinated with how people don't hesitate to literally run over each other out of pure desperation to stay alive. It taught me that there is no better time to tell if a person is strong and good or weak and selfish than when things suddenly are about life or death. It made me hope with all my heart that if I were to ever be in one of these situations, I would be one of the strong and good people.

Fear is a hunter.
