When I realized this book is by the author of Millions, I knew I was in for a treat!
Liam is twelve years old, and so tall that he’s often mistaken for an adult. This growth spurt leads to some hilarious situations, including the opportunity to (almost) test drive a very expensive sports car.
Liam’s life takes a “cosmic” turn when he and a fellow student (pretending to be his daughter) win the chance to explore a mysterious new theme park in China that turns out to be a rocket launching station.
While the book is recommended for grades 4-7, I encourage adults to give it a try, as well. You’re in for a magical trip of your own!
