This book was fun, flirty, and light to read. The build from lust to love was enjoyable. The relationship between Rick and Lexie was beautifully written. Even the relationships with the side characters were a joy to read. I liked the interactions of all of them. The suspense of the story, though not gone into with a lot of detail, was just enough to keep me interested. The ending was the kind of HEA I was looking for with a tease of what's next for Carter and Cassie. I predict that will be a suspenseful book as well considering he's an undercover detective, right?
