How great is it to stumble into a book that absolutely rocks you? That's what this book was for me. Found by accident and enjoyed on purpose. Both Jade and Lucas were likeable characters that anyone would enjoy. Jade had a big heart and despite a couple of disappointing relationships, she was willing to try again with love. Lucas had a hard life, filled with hate over the rejection of his father. But with Jade's help, those wounds heal and the breach between a hurt father and son is closed when misunderstandings and reception are revealed.

This was a delightfully light read. No angst or drama. I thought it was great how the author was able to describe Lucas's emotions, especially his tears, without turning him into a wuss of some sort. It just made him that much more endearing.

Rick and Lexie's story is next and it seems really good from the preview! Hope to see more of Jade and Lucas in there as well!!
