did not like it
bookshelves: contemporary-romance

Oh my. If I hadn't *had* to read this book, I wouldn't have made it past the first 50 pages or so. I guess it qualified as a romance, since it did end up with a happy ending, but the atrocious editing, seemingly-written-for-Penthouse endless, descriptive sex scenes, and the "oh gosh I forgot to put in any plot" storyline was just over the top for me. The author was just trying too hard, I think, to make this both a "hot, sensual romance" (from the bio) and a complex storyline - with more time dedicated to the sex than the story. Stilted sentence structure made it hard to follow at times.

The underlying story was somewhat entertaining.
