The Gist

Helen Hamilton lives on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts. She knows that she is different, especially in her small island town. She has incredible strength, never gets winded, unbelievably gorgeous, and exceptionaly smart. She thinks that she is normal until the Delos family moves into town and they are just like her. Lucas Delos is drop dead beautiful and so is the rest of his family. They teach her how to unleash her powers and she discovers that she is much more powerful than she could have ever imagined. As her and Lucas' romance blossoms into something that neither wants to give up the fates have a different idea and threaten the exsistance of their love. Her life is now surrounded by Greek tragedies and a whole new world she didn't know even exsisted.

I LOVED this book. Everything about it was good, the characters were well developed and so was the plot. The concept behind the plot, like the modern greek tragedy is really creative. It was flirty and fun and dark, I couldn't put it down, literally. Shore and Living and North yelled at me multiple times to put the book down and concentrate on more important things. The only problem I have with this book was that there was too many similarities from other books. Most recognizably Twilight and......
