really liked it

I love Orson Scott Card's writing. If I had read SPEAKER before the series about Bean, I would have rated it five stars, but I've discovered something: I enjoy politics and technical stuff a lot more than figuring out why aliens do things differently than humans. The 'Piggies' were interesting and the idea was good, but I liked it better when Bean was thinking.

I still really liked SPEAKER, especially Novinha's kids and their different personalities. I cried about Miro--right then I could get into his head, and it hurt! Poor guy.

Aside from ENDER'S GAME, I wouldn't recommend SPEAKER and the other books in the set to anyone under sixteen, but not for anything specific--I just don't think anyone younger would enjoy them as much.
