it was amazing

Ms. Hadyn has done it again. This different take on the vampire "curse" is her latest. I've read everything she's written and each book seems to expand Ms. Hadyn's abilities. In this book Prince Janos is caught between his honor and his heart. He's pledged to marry a woman that he not only doesn't love, but doesn't even like and the feeling is mutual. The Baroness Beatrix, hired to paint miniatures as a pre-nuptial gift to his fiancée, has taken his heart. His fiancée's mother is no better, condemning him as a soulless abomination, a revenant or vampire. He cannot reveal the true nature of his being but honor holds him prisoner. My highest recommendations for this and any of Ms. Hadyn's work – you won't regret it!
