A great book to introduce a play on words. From the song, "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer", Olive thinks she is the other reindeer ("Olive the other reindeer"). As we all know, dogs can't fly like reindeer can, but Olive is able to find a way to help with her special talents. Like Olive, there are many students who want to help, but might not necessarily have what they need to help in the most obvious way. But, everyone has talents and everyone can help in their own special way!
