if you are watching Star Wars Rebels and have not read this book, shame on you. If you are not watching Star Wars Rebels on Disney XD channel, double shame on you! ( It is really good) This fast paced book by John Jackson Miller spins the tale on how Hera & Kanan first meet. Kana is the rogue, Han Solo type individual keeping his head done. Hera is a girl with a plan. The setting is a planet and its dependent mining moon where a new Imperial officer does what Imperial officers do, which is not in the best interest of the whole. I like the physical layout of the book, each chapter being about eight or nine pages long, perfect for those small windows of time that present themselves in the course of the day. The sentences are as crisp as a new dollar bill, the action rolls past at neck braking speed and the characters are fleshed out in a nice way, even if one of those fleshed out character hides a cyborg. Finally, watch Star Wars Rebel Wednesday at 9 PM on Disney XD or DVR it. Disney, you can send me all the shag you want or not, I still will plug this series everywhere. Lastly this is a G rated book. perfect for teenagers to enjoy as well as adults, perfect for those Parent/Teen book share.
