I downloaded this as an audiobook from, and I'm so glad I did! Hearing Weird Al read his own hilarious, rhyming text was delightful! If you've ever heard his music, you know he has a distinctive voice and outrageous style. Of course, with an audiobook, there are no illustrations, and given all the fanciful things our young protagonist wants to be, I'm sorry I missed the pictures. I did get to hear the rhythm and the emphasis that the author originally intended, however, and that added new dimensions to the story. I could hear the mischief in Yankovic's voice and could imagine the glittering eyes and devilish grin of child in this tale as he holds his classmates spellbound.
