it was amazing

I don't think I truly ever read this book from start to finish but I probably looked through it at different times and in different places about fifty times. It's a nostalgic masterpiece from my childhood. I remember my German cousins had it and I didn't know how to get my hands on it but I looked through theirs a bunch of times. Eventually I found it years later in a book store here in the U.S. and was able to give a much better look through.
I recently saw it at my local library and snagged a copy to take home and introduce my kid to it and now it lives on for another generation.
Not sure what age i'd recommend this book for kids since there's some Gnome nudity (perky Gnome tits anyone?) in it. And the picture of the Gnomes milking cows is just childishly funny!
It's truly an amazing book and has incredible artwork and technical like drawings that remind me of some of those DaVinci drawings. So glad this book is still around!
