I expected this book to take place in a fantasy world, so I was surprised to find that Werlin put this situation (where a girl must defeat a family curse by completing three impossible tasks before giving birth or she'll go crazy) in a real world setting. This should broaden its crossover appeal to fans of realistic fiction and fantasy in the same way that the Twilight and Percy Jackson series did. This setup also helped Impossible avoid the pitfall of feeling like a typical teen pregnancy problem novel. I enjoyed this story's creativity!

Dawn My daughter is reading this one, now too. She seems to like it so far, just started last night, I'm sure she'll be finished by tonight.
