I was hesitant to even give this book 3 stars. I was fairly close to giving it 2. However, the story itself is what kept it at atleast a 3.

There were so many things about this book that irked me. Mainly, the way Meghan kept obsessing over Ash. How she wanted to be near him, how gorgeous he is, how she lived for his touch, blah blah blah. It was a bit over board. Maybe it is because I am not in the age bracket that this novel is intended for, but I don't think that is the whole reason that it was annoying.

The other thing that was annoying was the obvious love for anime that the author had. To many times did I find myself seeing references to anime styled characters and fighting. It was okay to see a bit of it, but I guess by book 2 I had had enough.

The over all story, minus those two aspects was good though. Though I feel bad for Puck >.<
