really liked it

I got this book in exchange for an honest review in Story Cartel.

Ok, first of all, this book was not what I expected, I mean in the good way, I read the synopsis and my mind created a book, and this book was not it, so, it surprised me, it was not what I thought and I loved that.

And to tell, from someone that knows nothing of wines, this book was very stimulating, I fell for the Santa Barbara vineyards, and for the views and of course, now I feel like go and buy some cheap wine and a bottle of Domaine de Gaston 2006 just to see if I can taste, smell and feel the diference! I even was checking if there is some vineyard near here to go and visit so...

Ok, the book, it tells the story from two POV, Harris Tucker and Laura Walters, it's not a love story, it's not a first sight love, it takes time, fights and apologies, it shows the change in the characters personalities while reading.

Now, I don't want to spoil the book for you, I just will say that it is worth reading.

So, here is Harris... (let me dream...)

And Laura...

Kate Preston Hi July, what a fantastic and creative review! Love your photo additions! I agree completely. While I know that 2006 was considered one of the best years ever for French wines, I made up the Domain de Gaston vineyard- although I am sure amongst the thousands of vineyards in France there is bound to be one named as such. In any event, always fun to taste your way through wine country, whether in France, California, Spain, New Zealand....sigh.
Best, Kate Preston

July Hey there! I'm glad you liked it!
Well, it happens that there is a vineyard 2.5 hours from here! I'll try to make a weekend visit over there!

And something I wanted to post in the review but I let it out because it was a spoiler it the fact that...

The fact that Laura was hurting because her mother left when Tedy was finally 18, and she was angry with her mother, BUT, to think that Laura wanted to do the same, she said several times, that when Tori turns 18 she would leave the farm!
Just like her mother...
