it was amazing
bookshelves: dual-pov, paranormal, suspense

1. The writing and the editing are the best so far in the series. I found very few errors and the style JRW wrote in was phenomenal. She really drew me into these characters' individual plot lines.

2. How great is it that V's sister Payne is a warrior too??? I love her and Manuel's story, from him helping her overcome her spinal cord injury to their HEA. I don't believe they got enough airtime but what I did see I really enjoyed.

3. I was ecstatic to get a storyline with my baby V. My boo was still feeling tortured by the atrocities of his father (Bloodletter). That man was a right bastard and I was happy to see how he came to an end. Go Payne!! Thankfully V had Jane and Butch to see him through and I envision great things with this character. Look how open he was towards the end. I love that for him.

4. Okay, so I'm really interested to see how Xcor and his band of misfits play out. His bid to rule and oust Wrath (how dare he!) is going to make for some intense reading I'm sure.

5. And I really want to know how Detective Veck and his serial killer father's DNA and the serial killer killer (say that 5 times fast) tie in to this series. The deal was pretty vague but no less intriguing.

6. I have so many unanswered questions and I guess that's what makes this series a thrill to read because I keep looking for answers. On to book 10. Cheers!
